Arabisches Theatertreffen in Hannover

Ein gemeinsames Projekt des Kulturzentrum Pavillon und der theaterwerkstatt hannover

Die Geschichte des Arabischen Theatertreffens in Hannover ist eng mit den Ereignissen 2011 und 2012 in den arabisch-sprachigen Ländern verbunden, dem sogenannten Arabischen Frühling. In der ersten Ausgabe des Treffens im Mai 2012 kamen ca. 80 junge Theaterschaffende vorwiegend aus nordafrikanischen Ländern zusammen, die hier erstmalig ihre hochpolitischen Inszenierungen dem deutschsprachigen Publikum zeigen konnten. Nach diesem großen Erfolg konnte das Treffen anschließend in 2014 unter dem Titel „Aufbruch der Frauen“ und in 2017 mit dem Titel „Zuflucht“ durchgeführt und weiter professionalisiert werden.
Das Team in Hannover hat in den vergangenen Jahren ein Netzwerk entwickelt, das von den nordafrikanischen Staaten, dem Golf, über die Länder des Nahen Ostens bis in den Irak reicht. Sie auch: Frankfurter Hefte – Künstler als Seismographen in gesellschaftlichen Transformationsprozessen.
Für 2021 ist die nächste europäisch vernetzte Ausgabe des Arabischen Theatertreffens geplant. Im Herbst 2020 wird der Weg zum nächsten Treffen geebnet, indem eine Panelveranstaltung die aktuelle Situation der Theaterszene im arabischen Raum umreißt.

„Bin u bin – inbetween – dazwischen – بين و بين

Unter diesem Titel ist ein 3 tägiges Panel im Oktober 2020 mit geladenen Theaterschaffenden aus den arabischsprachigen Ländern und aus Deutschland und Europa geplant. Gemeinsam loten sie das Thema „Erbe“ für das vierte Arabische Theatertreffen in Hannover 2021 aus, das in seiner Exzellenz im Bidbook, der Bewerbung zur europäischen Kulturhauptstadt der Landeshauptstadt Hannover, aufgenommen worden ist.

The (hi)story of the Arab Theatre Meeting “Arabisches Theatertreffen” in Hanover is closely linked to the events of 2011 and 2012 in the Arabic-speaking countries, the so-called “Arab Spring”. In the first edition of the meeting in 2012, about 80 young theatre professionals, mainly from North African countries came together. Thus they were able to present here for the first time their highly political stagings to a German-speaking audience. After this great success, the meeting was subsequently held in 2014 under the title „Women’s awakening“ and in 2017 under the title „Refuge“ and was then further professionalise. In recent years, the team in Hanover has developed a network that extends from the North African countries, the Arabian Gulf to the countries of Middle East and Iraq. The next European networked edition of the Arab Theatre Meeting is planned for 2021. In autumn 2021, the way to the next meeting will be paved with a virtual Panel outlining the current situation of the theatre scene in the Arab world.

 

„Bin u bin – in between – entre les deux – بين و بين“

 

Under this title, a 3-day panel is planned in October 2021 with theatre professionals invited from Arabic-speaking countries, from Germany and Europe. Together they will sound out the theme of “Heritage“ for the fourth Arab Theatre Meeting in Hanover in 2021, which has been included in its excellence in the bid book, the application for the European Capital of Culture of the state capital Hanover.

Un projet commun du centre culturel „Kulturzentrum Pavillon“ et „Theaterwerkstatt“ Hanovre

L’histoire de la rencontre du Théâtre arabe „Arabisches Theatertreffen“ à Hanovre est étroitement liée aux événements de 2011 et 2012 dans les pays arabophones, le soi-disant „printemps arabe“ controversé. Lors de la première édition de la rencontre en 2012, environ 80 jeunes professionnels du théâtre, principalement originaires des pays d’Afrique du Nord, se sont réunis et ont ainsi pu présenter pour la première fois ici leurs mises en scène très politiques à un public germanophone. Après ce grand succès, la rencontre a ensuite été organisée en 2014 sous le titre „L’éveil des femmes“ et en 2017 sous le titre „Refuge“ puis a été davantage professionnalisée.

Ces dernières années, l’équipe de Hanovre a développé un réseau qui s’étend des pays d’Afrique du Nord aux pays du Moyen-Orient et de l’Irak en passant par le Golfe arabique.

La prochaine édition européenne en réseau de la rencontre du théâtre Arabe est prévue pour 2021. À l’automne 2021, le chemin vers la prochaine rencontre sera pavé d’un Panel virtuel qui cerne la situation actuelle de la scène théâtrale dans le monde arabe.

„Bin u bin – In between – Dazwischen – Entre les deux – بين و بين“

Sous ce titre, un panel de discussion de 3 jours est prévu en octobre 2021 avec des professionnels du théâtre invités des pays arabophones, d’Allemagne et d’Europe. Ensemble, ils se pencheront sur le thème de l’“ Héritage“ pour la quatrième rencontre du théâtre arabe à Hanovre en 2021, qui a été incluse de par sa distinction dans le dossier de candidature, la candidature de Hanover la capitale de l’État au titre de la capitale européenne de la culture.
